Report on indications for Enercel® products

 

Over the previous 13 years, I have had opportunity to study Enercel® products in vitro, in animals and in humans. In addition, I have extensively reviewed the literature. Indications for the eight Enercel® products are as follows:

  1. ENERCEL® Plus IV

     

    1. Mechanisms of action: systemic immunomodulation, alternate cellular energy (ACE) pathway activation
    2. General indications: moderate-to-severe systemic infections; severe autoimmune disorders, immunodeficiencies and local infections; metastatic cancer
    3. Specific indications:
      1. Infections:
        1. Bacterial (in conjunction with antibiotics): septicemia; cellulitis; lymphangitis; endocarditis; meningitis; syphilis; gonorrhea; acute infectious diarrhea (especially with severe electrolyte loss and/or fluid depletion); scarlet fever; pneumonia; pyelonephritis; drug-resistant and/or disseminated tuberculosis; primary, secondary and tertiary Lyme disease
        2. Viral (with antivirals when available): acquired immunodeficiency syndrome; encephalitis; shingles and chicken pox; human papilloma virus; herpes simplex; cytomegalovirus; Epstein-Barr virus/mononucleosis; hepatitis A, B and C; influenza A, B and C
        3. Parasitic (with antiparasitic agents): acute and chronic malaria; cysticercosis
        4. Fungal (with antifungals): candidiasis; aspergillosis
      2. Immunodeficiencies (with specific treatment in severe cases): hereditary; common variable immunodeficiency syndrome; neutropenia; drug-induced cytopenias; radiation-induced; chemotherapy-induced; severe combined immunodeficiency; chronic granulomatous disease
      3. Autoimmune (with specific treatment in severe cases): idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpurea (ITP); rheumatoid arthritis; systemic lupus erythematosis (SLE); ankylosing spondylitis; Reiter’s syndrome; chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP); post-polio syndrome; polymyositis; Sjogren’s syndrome; multiple sclerosis; hemolytic anemia; autoimmune hepatitis; myasthenia gravis; temporal arteritis; Wegener’s granulomatosis; type 1 diabetes mellitus; Hashimoto’s thyroiditis; polymyalgia rheumatica; allergies; asthma
      4. Cancer (with chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and/or other anticancer therapies): brain; leukemia; lymphoma; sarcomas; mouth and throat; esophageal; gastric; colon; anal; liver; lung; testicular; breast; uterine; cervical; prostate; bladder; renal cell; malignant melanoma; pancreatic
      5. As drops for ophthalmic conditions: infectious conjunctivitis; blepharitis; allergic conjunctivitis; hordeolum; keratitis; iritis; herpes keratitis; scleritis; corneal ulcer/abrasion; uveitis; optic neuritis
      6. Intralesional: skin cancers; common and genital warts; lipoma; dermatofibroma

     

     

  2. ENERCEL® Plus IM

     

    1. Mechanisms of action: systemic immunomodulation, alternate cellular energy (ACE) pathway activation, local muscle repair
    2. General indications: mild, moderate or severe systemic infections; moderate-to-severe autoimmune disorders, immunodeficiencies and local infections; localized or metastatic cancer; severe and/or acute energy depletion states; local muscle disorders
    3. Specific indications:
      1. Same as 1c) i.- vi. above (mild, moderate or severe cases as indicated)
      2. Energy depletion disorders (in conjunction with specific treatment when available): chronic fatigue syndrome; drug or alcohol withdrawal; poisoning; congestive heart failure; emphysema; depression; sleep disorders; neurodegenerative disorders; drug-induced fatigue
      3. Muscle, fascia and tendon disorders: wasting syndrome; inclusion myositis; fibromyalgia; plantar fasciitis; tendonitis

 

  1. ENERCEL® Max

     

    1. Mechanisms of action: local and systemic immunomodulation, alternate cellular energy (ACE) pathway activation, gastrointestinal tract repair
    2. General indications: mild systemic infections; mild-to-moderate autoimmune disorders, immunodeficiencies and local infections; localized cancer; chronic energy depletion conditions; local gastrointestinal tract disorders
    3. Specific indications:
      1. Same as 1c) i.- iv. above (mild-to-moderate cases)
      2. Energy depletion states (in conjunction with specific treatment when available): chronic fatigue syndrome; drug or alcohol withdrawal; poisoning; congestive heart failure; emphysema; depression; sleep disorders; neurodegenerative disorders; drug-induced fatigue
      3. Gastrointestinal tract disorders (with specific treatment as clinically indicated): acute or chronic infectious diarrhea; Chrone’s disease; ulcerative colitis; irritable bowel syndrome; celiac disease; helicobacter pylori infection/gastritis; malabsorption syndromes; diverticulitis; pancreatitis; giardiasis

         

         

  2. ENERCEL® Mist Nasal

     

    1. Mechanisms of action: local and systemic immunomodulation, alternate cellular energy (ACE) pathway activation
    2. General indications: upper respiratory tract infections; mild-to-moderate local and systemic infections, autoimmune disorders and immunodeficiencies; localized cancer; chronic energy deletion states; local upper respiratory tract disorders; immunomodulation and repair of the skin
    3. Specific indications:
      1. Same as 1c) i.- iv. above (mild-to-moderate cases)
      2. Infections of the head and neck (with specific antimicrobials when clinically indicated or for severe cases): acute and chronic sinusitis; fungal sinusitis; pharyngitis; tonsillitis; laryngitis; otitis media; Bell’s palsy
      3. Allergic rhinitis
      4. Vasomotor rhinitis
      5. Energy depletion states (in conjunction with specific treatment when available): chronic fatigue syndrome; drug or alcohol withdrawal; poisoning; congestive heart failure; emphysema; depression; sleep disorders; neurodegenerative disorders; drug-induced fatigue
      6. Head and neck cancer (with chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and/or specific anticancer treatment)
      7. Topical (together with specific therapy in severe cases): acne; psoriasis; burns; impetigo; tinea pedis; diaper rash; atopic dermatitis; eczema; rosacea; contact dermatitis; sunburn

     

  3. ENERCEL® Mist Nebulizer

     

    1. Mechanisms of action: lower respiratory tract immunomodulation and alternate cellular energy (ACE) pathway activation
    2. General indications: lower respiratory tract infections, autoimmune disorders, and cancers; non-specific lower respiratory tract disorders; immunomodulation and repair of the skin
    3. Specific indications:
      1. Lower respiratory tract infections (with specific antimicrobials): viral, bacterial and fungal pneumonia; pulmonary tuberculosis (including drug- and multi-drug resistant infections); bronchitis; bronchiectasis; abscesses
      2. Lung cancer (with chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and/or specific anticancer treatment): adenocarcinoma; squamous cell; mesothelioma
      3. Autoimmune (with specific therapy when indicated): sarcoidosis; Loeffler’s syndrome; rheumatoid nodules; hypersensitivity pneumonitis; asthma
      4. Pulmonary fibrosis
      5. Topical (together with specific therapy in severe cases): acne; psoriasis; burns; impetigo; tinea pedis; diaper rash; atopic dermatitis; eczema; rosacea; contact dermatitis; sunburn

     

  4. ENERCEL® Forte, AM and PM

     

    1. Mechanisms of action: local and systemic immunomodulation, alternate cellular energy (ACE) pathway activation
    2. General indications: mild-to-moderate local and systemic infections, autoimmune disorders, immunodeficiencies and localized cancer; mild acute and chronic energy deletion states; head and neck pathology
    3. Specific indications:
      1. Same as 1c) i.- iv. above (mild-to-moderate cases)

         

      2. Chronic energy depletion states (with specific treatment if available): chronic fatigue syndrome; drug or alcohol withdrawal; poisoning; congestive heart failure; emphysema; depression; sleep disorders; neurodegenerative disorders; drug-induced fatigue
      3. Inflammation of the head and neck
      4. Head and neck cancer (with chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and/or specific anticancer treatment): brain; nasopharyngeal carcinoma; localized cancer of the mouth, tongue, lips, larynx and neck
      5. Infections of the head and neck (with antimicrobials if indicated): Pharyngitis; sinusitis; tonsillitis; gingivitis; laryngitis
